my best friend calls it "myspace for people our age". i'm not sure what pulls me in, but i've been known to spend hours looking through people's lists of "friends", wondering who knows who, who has married whom, and moved where. mostly these are people from college, but every now and then, i remember someone from high school and wonder where the heck they ended up.
plus, there's all those different applications to get sucked into. where else can you give someone a gift, help a plant grow, take a movie quiz, and challenge someone to a snowball fight - all without leaving the couch at midnight?
take a look.. (...if you dare...)

it's been way too long...
so, our camera broke. this is my excuse for not blogging for 2 months. and i'm sticking to it. granted, it was just that the screen cracked, so you could no longer get that instant gratification feeling of knowing that the picture is "bloggable". i think i'm turning into my 6-year-old, who is not very interested in a camera that doesn't immediately show you the results. anyway, this is what we got, and are liking it. it's a top pick for Consumer Reports.
hopefully, i'll be able to get back in the groove.
